Dubai to host Games of the Future 2025

The tournament is scheduled for autumn/fall 2025.

The UAE was selected as the host for Games of the Future 2025 at a ceremony in Istanbul last month. It is now confirmed that Dubai will host the games in late 2025. Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, director general of the UAE Sports Authority, said:

There can be no doubt of Dubai’s status as the world leader and a hub for the brightest and best in sports and technology. It is therefore a natural step for Dubai to play host to the Games of the Future 2025.

Teams from all over the world

Games of the Future 2025 will be a major event in the 'phygital' -- a combination of physical and digital games, sporting calendar. Thousands of esports athletes from 100+ countries are expected.

Teams are currently qualifying through the World Phygital Community and participating in the Phygital Games 2024/25 tournament season. The Games welcome participants of all ages, genders, and nationalities.

Dubai program for training 2033

Dubai launched a 10-year program to attract tech giants and gaming talent worldwide, aiming to grow the phygital community. Nis Hate, the CEO of Phygital International, praised Dubai as a perfect fit for the Games, noting the city’s technological and sporting advancements and the opportunity for global teams to experience Dubai’s unique culture.

The bidding process for becoming host cities for Games of the Future 2026 and 2027 is already underway, with interest from multiple cities globally.
