In this exclusive conversation with Nukta, Fawad Khan opens up about his much-awaited Bollywood comeback with Abir Gulaal.

Speaking at the film’s music launch, Fawad shares why this project felt like the “breath of fresh air” he was looking for after a string of intense roles.

Reflecting on his track record of hit projects, he credits thoughtful choices — not luck — for his success: “I choose wisely,” he says with a smile.

We didn’t stop there. Fawad also fondly recalls working with Bollywood’s leading ladies. From Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma to Vaani Kapoor and Alia Bhatt — calling them talented, inspiring, and a joy to work with.

And when asked about Atif Aslam’s rising social media presence and fan love, Fawad didn’t hold back: “Atif is our pride, and I love whatever he does.”
