Fujairah aid drive collects 100 tonnes of relief for Lebanon
Over 1,000 volunteers collected 5,000 parcels of aid materials including food and shelter equipment as part of the ‘UAE Stands With Lebanon’ campaign
A collection drive involving more than 1,000 volunteers was held at Al Bustan Hall in Fujairah as part of the “UAE Stands With Lebanon” campaign, resulting in the collection of 100 tonnes (5,000 parcels) of relief materials, including food supplies and shelter equipment for the people of Lebanon.
The event was organized by the Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Affairs and the Fujairah Charity Association, with oversight from the UAE’s International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council.

This additional relief aid follows the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with oversight from Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.
The "UAE Stands With Lebanon" campaign is an initiative launched by the United Arab Emirates to provide humanitarian assistance and support to Lebanon as the country faces a humanitarian crisis after Israeli strikes.
