Karachi may lose National Games swimming events over lack of facilities

Despite Karachi hosting the National Games in December this year, swimming competitions may be moved to Lahore or Islamabad due to lack of facilities, especially the absence of electronic timing devices. Additionally, the trend of swimming is growing in Sindh.

In Defence and Clifton, there are many swimming pools, and the elite class there can afford the heavy expenses, but for the rest of the city’s residents, covering these costs becomes quite difficult.
