Meta has launched Meta One, a new subscription service for WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook, in the UAE, Khaleej Times reported. Plans start at Dh5.99 a month. The service gives individuals, creators and businesses expanded access to AI tools and professional features. Meta said the core experience on its apps will remain free.
What is Meta One?
Meta One is a subscription service that bundles more than 50 features already rolled out across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI. It includes AI image and video generation, custom fonts and expanded insights, with Edits and AI glasses features expected to follow. More than 15 million subscriptions and trials have been recorded so far, Meta said.
Do you pay for Meta AI on WhatsApp?
No. Meta said the core experience across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Meta AI will stay free for all users. Meta One subscriptions unlock extra features and expanded AI usage beyond what the free tier offers, rather than replacing the free service.
What plans does Meta One offer for individuals?
Meta One builds on single app plans launched earlier this year: Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus and WhatsApp Plus. Meta said these plans are seeing strong user retention.
Instagram Plus now includes custom fonts for DMs and Stories, alerts for specific Story viewers and DM previews. Facebook Plus is adding Messenger customization, expanded Reels insights and super reactions for Reels and Feed posts. WhatsApp Plus will soon test chat and media backup storage, along with Focus Schedules that let users mute or hide chats on a set timetable.
The Core and Premium bundles combine these single app features with greater access to AI tools that require more computing power. This includes image and video generation through Meta's Muse models, along with tools such as Restyle on Instagram. Meta said early testing found that more than half of bundle subscribers used both AI and expression features, with tools like Restyle and voice effects cited as key reasons for subscribing.
What does Meta One offer creators and businesses?
For creators and businesses, Meta One brings professional tools and AI directly into the apps their audiences already use. New features include an enhanced business profile that shows a website, locations and customer reviews.
Businesses also get a more visible follow button on Reels and automatic follow invitations for users who engage with content. Wider access to Meta Business Agent lets businesses handle customer queries around the clock. Meta said more features are planned, including Edits Plus, which will offer extra cloud storage to sync projects across devices, and greater use of an upcoming Edits assistant to analyze Instagram insights and suggest content ideas.

Meta One plans are now available worldwide. Single product plans start at Dh5.99 a month, individual bundles start at Dh22.99 a month, and creator and business bundles start at Dh46.99 a month.
