Abu Dhabi launches innovative program to train and hire future educators

The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has launched a groundbreaking initiative, welcoming individuals from all sectors to join the teaching profession.
This first-of-its-kind program is open to both nationals and expatriates, providing an opportunity to enter the educational field after completing a one-year accredited post-graduate diploma in education.
Applicants must:
- Be over 25 years old
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited university
- Have excellent communication skills

ADEK will sponsor 125 candidates for an accelerated one-year training programme offered at Abu Dhabi University, Al Ain University, and Emirates College for Advanced Education. Graduates will be placed in charter schools across Abu Dhabi, with at least 30 graduates guaranteed teaching positions.
