Pakistan showcased its growing food manufacturing and packaging industry at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025, one of the world’s largest trade exhibitions for the food and beverage sector, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 4 to 6.
Hussain Muhammad, Pakistan’s Consul General in Dubai, inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion, which features 11 Pakistani companies participating under the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). Seven of these firms represent the food packaging and processing sector, while four are from the food ingredients industry.
The inauguration was attended by Ali Zeb Khan, Pakistan’s Trade and Investment Counsellor in Dubai, Shabbir Merchant, Chairman of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai, and a large number of Pakistani exhibitors and business representatives.
Speaking at the event, the Consul General said Pakistan’s participation reflects the country’s expanding capabilities in food processing, packaging, printing, labelling, and supply chain technologies. He added that the exhibition provides a valuable opportunity for Pakistani businesses to connect with international buyers and explore export opportunities in regional and global markets.
Trade Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan said the Commercial Section of the Consulate facilitated Pakistan’s participation to ensure strong representation at the event.
With more than 2,500 exhibitors from around the world, Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 serves as a major platform for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth in the global food and beverage manufacturing industry.
