President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the convening of sessions of the National Assembly and Senate on June 5 ahead of the presentation of the federal budget.

According to the President House, the National Assembly session has been summoned for Friday, June 5, at 5 p.m., while the Senate session will begin at 6 p.m. the same day.

The meetings will mark the formal start of parliamentary proceedings related to the federal budget and other legislative business. Lawmakers from both houses are expected to discuss key economic priorities and government policies for the upcoming fiscal year.

The sessions will be held at Parliament House in Islamabad under Pakistan’s constitutional framework.
