I have almost 20 years of experience in print, radio, and TV media. I started my career with "Daily Jang" after which I got the opportunity to work in FM 103, Radio Pakistan, News One, Ab Tak News, Dawn News TV, Dunya News, 92 News and regional channels Rohi TV, Apna Channel and Sach TV where I worked and gained experience in different areas of all three mediums. My journey from reporting to news anchor in these organisations was excellent. Now, I am working as a correspondent with Nukta in Islamabad, where I get the opportunity of in-depth journalism and storytelling while I am now covering parliamentary affairs, politics, and technology.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the country’s largest opposition party, has decided to hold a “people’s assembly” outside Adiala Jail on Tuesday during a joint parliamentary party meeting chaired by Barrister Ali Zafar at the Parliament House.

The meeting reviewed the current political situation, public issues, and future organizational strategy.

According to the official statement, all members of the National Assembly and Senate have been directed to participate in the assembly, where issues such as inflation, recent floods, law and order, and other public concerns will be highlighted.

The statement declared that the government formed under Form 47 is “fake and holds no legal standing.” It reaffirmed PTI’s commitment to raising the voice of the people at every forum.

Barrister Ali Zafar conveyed party founder Imran Khan’s message to the participants. Khan expressed full confidence in the parliamentary party and instructed leaders to act as the true voice of the nation.

The meeting offered special prayers for the children and women martyred in Tirah Valley, a mountainous region of Khyber district near the Afghan border, where at least 21 people, including women and children, were killed in an explosion.

The meeting expressed condolences to the families of the victims, stressing that the tribal communities were facing injustices and that PTI must collectively raise its voice for them.

The party also expressed sorrow over the human and financial losses caused by the recent floods across the country.

All PTI legislators were instructed to actively participate in relief and rehabilitation efforts, with the leadership vowing that “the people will not be left alone in this difficult time.” The party also expressed dissatisfaction over the Punjab government’s ongoing flood relief operations.

The meeting also expressed serious concern over what it called “false cases” against former prime minister Imran Khan and PTI leaders, demanding their immediate withdrawal.

Congratulations were also extended to the leadership and workers on the success of the recent Peshawar public gathering.

The parliamentary party further decided that PTI would actively participate in the upcoming Supreme Court Bar elections and would fully support PTI-backed candidates in bar elections across Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The meeting also expressed deep concern over the recent situation in Pakistani-administered Kashmir, urging the international community to raise its voice for the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.
