The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) recovered AED 4.1 million for investors in 2024 through amicable settlements, reflecting its continued commitment to investor protection and market integrity, according to the Emirates News Agency.

This recovery stems from the SCA’s approach in resolving disputes related to capital market transactions and the effective use of its official online complaints service, WAM stated.

Walid Al Awadhi, Chief Executive Officer of the SCA, said: “The recovery of these funds underscores our firm dedication to safeguarding investors and reinforcing trust in the financial markets. Our dispute resolution mechanisms ensure the rights of all stakeholders are upheld.”

He emphasized that the complaint submission service is a vital tool for achieving fairness and responding promptly to investor concerns. It plays a key role in the SCA’s mission to maintain stability and transparency across the financial markets.
