Dounia and Chafic’s romance began on Love is Blind, but their love story didn’t end there.

On a recent evening at Banyan Tree Dubai, Chafic pulled off a surprise that took Dounia back to that life-changing question.

Dounia thought she was heading to a simple event, instead, Chafic led her, blindfolded, down a sandy path toward the beach, according to a press release.

When she opened her eyes, she saw an intimate setup: candles flickering against the fading daylight, a path lined with flowers, and a private table for two set by the water.

As she absorbed the setup, Chafic knelt and asked her to marry him again, surrounded this time by friends and family who’d secretly gathered to witness. She said yes — again — with all the joy of a first “yes,” as loved ones cheered them on.
