The United Arab Emirates has designated 16 individuals and five entities on its Local Terrorist List over alleged links to Lebanon's Hezbollah, state news agency WAM reported.
The move was issued under Cabinet Resolution No. 63 of 2026 and requires relevant authorities to freeze any associated assets within 24 hours. All 16 individuals are Lebanese nationals, and all five entities are based in Lebanon.

Why is the UAE targeting Hezbollah-linked networks?
