In a significant diplomatic meeting today at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting, which underscored the strong ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

Prince Khalid bin Salman brought with him the warm greetings of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, conveying their best wishes for the UAE's continued progress and prosperity. In return, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed sent his heartfelt greetings to Saudi Arabia’s leadership, extending his wishes for the Kingdom’s further advancement under its visionary leadership.

The meeting was a testament to the deep-rooted relationship between the two nations, with both leaders emphasising the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors. Their discussions focused on advancing mutual interests and working together to realize the aspirations of their peoples for peace, stability, and development in the region.

Attendees at the meeting included prominent UAE officials such as Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security, and Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office.
