West Asian Youth Championship: UAE to face Saudi in final tomorrow
National team qualified after defeating their Jordanian counterpart in semi-finals yesterday.
The national youth football team of the UAE will meet its Saudi counterpart tomorrow, Friday, in the final of the West Asian Youth Football Championship at the King Fahd Sports City Stadium, in Taif, Saudi Arabia.
The UAE national team qualified for the finals after defeating Jordan’s team (2-1) yesterday, Wednesday, in the semi-finals. Meanwhile, the Saudi national team defeated its Syrian counterpart 2-0 to go on to the final.

Salim Abdel Rahman, the coach of UAE’s youth team, praised his players’ efforts during the match against Jordan, calling it one of the most important achievements in the team’s journey in the tournament.
He urged the UAE players to focus on tomorrow's match against the Saudi national team and to keep the momentum going.
