Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder and former prime minister Imran Khan, dismissed on Monday reports of a former army chief meeting the jailed ex-premier at Rawalpindi's Adiala jail as "totally fake."
She posted the denial on X, saying the claims had been verified with PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, who also confirmed they were false.

What did Aleema Khan say about the Adiala jail meeting reports?
Aleema Khan said all social media reports of a former army chief meeting Imran Khan at Adiala jail are fabricated. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan separately confirmed the reports are false.
Aleema described the claims as disinformation designed to distract from Imran's ongoing isolation and denial of basic rights in custody.
What conditions is Imran Khan facing in Adiala jail?
Aleema said the false reports were meant to draw attention away from what she described as Imran's mistreatment in custody.
She said he has been denied proper treatment for an eye condition, has not been allowed to speak to his sons, has been without books for six months, and has no television access in his cell.
She added that Imran has had no contact with the outside world for six months, apart from two court-ordered visits by his lawyer. A full bench court order, she said, allows at least 18 people to visit him each week: six family members and six lawyers on Tuesdays, and six party members on Thursdays.
How long has Imran Khan been in jail and what are his sentences?
Imran Khan has been imprisoned since August 2023. He has been sentenced to 14 years in a £190 million corruption case and 17 years in the Toshakhana-2 case. He underwent a medical procedure at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad on the night of January 24, a development the government confirmed only days later.
His family says his sons, Kasim and Suleiman, who live in London with his ex-wife, are not permitted to speak to him by phone. The family has also accused the government of deliberately delaying the issuance of their visas.
What is PTI doing in response to Imran's restricted access?
PTI has been staging regular sit-ins outside Adiala jail on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the court-mandated meeting days, which have remained largely suspended in recent months.
Aleema Khan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said on May 20 that shots were fired at participants during one such sit-in outside the jail.
