When India halted rice exports in 2023, Pakistan seized the opportunity by exporting 5.54 million tons of rice in just 11 months of FY25. Basmati shipments rose from 772,725 to 830,000 tons.

Watch how Pakistan turned a global supply gap into an economic win.
