Dubai reinforced its status as a top-tier education destination yet again, ranking 2nd for financial literacy and 6th for creative thinking in The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) by Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The study is conducted every three years to check how 15-year-old students can apply their knowledge and creativity in real life.

Financial literacy shows how well students know and understand economic concepts and risks. These tests demonstrate their skills, motivation, and confidence to make good decisions in different financial situations. Dubai private schools reached 2nd place globally, getting 522 points compared to the 498 average.

82% of students in Dubai said they know how to manage their money, while 79% also have savings goals for certain things they aim to buy or do. 82% claimed they understand the difference between spending money on needs and wants.

Creative thinking examines students’ ability to generate, evaluate, and improve ideas that can grow into original, effective solutions and advances in knowledge. Dubai private schools ranked 6th globally among 64 participating countries and regions.

89% of Dubai students said that engaging in creative activities satisfies them, while 74% feel confident about coming up with creative ideas for school projects.
