Munir vowed that the armed forces, working closely with law enforcement and the people of Balochistan, would continue operations against all terrorists and their abettors until complete peace was restored to the province. Field Marshal Munir received a detailed briefing on ongoing counter-terrorism operations and praised the high morale, operational readiness, and vigilance of the troops stationed along the western frontiers. He was received by the Commander of Quetta Corps upon arrival in Zhob.
Addressing officers and soldiers, Munir commended their role in counter-terrorism operations and their sacrifices in protecting the country from what he described as foreign-sponsored terrorism and hostile threats.
