Iran warned countries on Friday against assisting the United States in military action against the Islamic Republic, threatening legal accountability under international law.
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued the warning as Tehran reported fresh casualties from overnight US strikes. Iran also claimed retaliatory drone attacks on American military facilities in Bahrain and Jordan.

Araghchi said any country that helps or cooperates with US attacks on Iran will bear international responsibility for that action. He made the remark at a meeting in Kyrgyzstan, adding that Iran reserves the right to take all necessary self-defense measures.
"Any participation, cooperation or assistance in committing aggression against Iran will create international responsibility for the relevant parties," Araghchi said. He added that Tehran "reserves its right to take all necessary measures within the framework of self-defence."
What happened during the strikes on Khuzestan?
Iranian state media reported that overnight US strikes on the southwestern province of Khuzestan killed at least four people and wounded five others.
Valiollah Hayati, deputy governor of Khuzestan, told the official IRNA news agency that the toll followed a missile attack on areas around Ahvaz. He described it as a strike by the "terrorist US enemy" near the city.
How did Iran retaliate against the US military?
Iran's military said it launched drone strikes against US military facilities in Bahrain and Jordan in response to the latest American attacks. A statement carried by state television said Arash kamikaze drones targeted fuel storage tanks, equipment warehouses, silos, and barracks at Isa Air Base in Bahrain.
An AFP journalist in Bahrain reported hearing an explosion and warning sirens on Friday morning, though it was not immediately clear if the two incidents were linked.
Which US bases did Iran claim to target?
Iran's military also said it struck Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan, claiming to have hit aircraft hangars, aviation maintenance facilities, and military barracks. Jordanian authorities had not reported any strikes at the time of writing.
Tehran has repeatedly said any regional military facility used by US forces to launch attacks against Iran would be considered a legitimate retaliatory target.
