An ambitious initiative to transform Al Mamzar Corniche into a world-class destination.

Dubai Municipality has announced details of the Al Mamzar Beach Development Project, which will feature unique facilities and prioritize sustainability and smart technology as part of the city’s vision to enhance tourism and residents’ quality of life.The project will introduce several unique features, including:

  • Women-only beach: Designed with privacy and safety in mind, it will include secure entrances, fencing, night swimming facilities, sports clubs, and children’s play areas.

  • Recreational and fitness paths: A 1,000-meter running, walking, and cycling track will link Al Mamzar Creek Beach with Al Mamzar Park, creating the region's first seamless connection between beach and park.

    Green Spaces and activity zones: The development will feature a 2,000-square-meter skateboarding area, a 5,000-square-meter seasonal event space, and landscaped gardens for relaxation.

    Sustainability and smart technology

    The development prioritizes environmental sustainability and incorporates advanced technologies to enhance visitor experiences. AI-powered systems will manage crowds, ensure safety, and prevent drowning. Smart amenities, such as luggage lockers, will also be available.

    Advancing Dubai’s Global Tourism Vision

    Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, said the project aligns with Dubai’s vision of becoming the best city to live and visit. By introducing innovative beachfront facilities, the development strengthens Dubai’s position as a global tourism leader.

    First Phase Nearing CompletionThe first phase of the project, which began in mid-2024, is 45% complete. This phase covers 275,000 square meters and includes a floating pedestrian bridge, dedicated walking and cycling tracks, and a night swimming beach accessible to people of determination.

    Both phases of the project are scheduled for completion by 2025, positioning Al Mamzar Beach as a key destination for modern, sustainable, and diverse recreational opportunities in Dubai.
