The aid ship Umm Al Emarat has departed for the Gaza Strip as part of the United Arab Emirates’ ongoing humanitarian efforts to support Palestinian civilians, coinciding with the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

According to a report by WAM, the initiative reflects the UAE’s continued commitment to alleviating the hardships faced by affected communities.

The vessel carries more than 7,300 tons of aid prepared by sixteen charitable and humanitarian organizations across the UAE.

Supplies include food parcels, ingredients for community kitchens, dates, Eid clothing, relief kits, tents, and essential household items, aimed at ensuring dignified living conditions and addressing urgent humanitarian needs.

Medical support is also a key component of the shipment. The ship is equipped with ventilators, medical beds and tables, chairs, protective masks, and air purification devices to strengthen healthcare capacity and assist medical facilities in responding to pressing health challenges in Gaza.
