UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met in Abu Dhabi to review bilateral relations and regional issues, WAM reported.

The leaders discussed cooperation across key sectors, focusing on initiatives that advance the development agendas of both countries. Regional and international developments, including the situation in the Middle East, were also addressed.

They emphasized the importance of implementing the Gaza ceasefire agreement and ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians.

Both sides highlighted the need for progress toward a just and comprehensive peace based on a two-state solution, promoting regional security and stability. They reaffirmed their commitment to continued consultation and coordination to support peace, development, and prosperity in the region.

During the visit, President El-Sisi toured the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, receiving briefings on the institution’s facilities, academic programs, and advances in artificial intelligence and technology, which contribute to the UAE’s long-term development strategy.

The visit concluded with President El-Sisi departing from Abu Dhabi’s Presidential Airport, where he was seen off by President Mohamed bin Zayed, accompanied by senior officials and ministers from both countries.
