The UAE has reaffirmed its global leadership in innovation and future foresight through the FEEL FOCUS for Government Futures Leadership Program, which welcomed senior government leaders from around the world.
Organized by the Government Experience Exchange Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs in partnership with the Dubai Future Academy, the initiative aims to share the UAE’s forward-looking governance model with international decision-makers, WAM reported.
The five-day program brought together 28 high-ranking officials - including ministers, secretaries-general, commissioners, and advisors - from 18 partner countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. Participants explored how innovation, digital transformation, and strategic foresight can redefine government operations and policymaking.
The sessions included scenario planning, AI applications, digital leadership, and sustainability-focused innovation. Delegates also visited key national institutions such as the Museum of the Future, Dubai Future Labs, Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, and Expo City Dubai, gaining direct exposure to the UAE’s model of future-driven development.
Abdulla Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Experience Exchange, said the program underscores the UAE’s commitment to preparing governments for future challenges through innovation and knowledge exchange.
Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, highlighted that the UAE’s proactive approach to designing the future has made it a global benchmark for innovation-driven progress. He noted that partnerships with international leaders enable the country to share expertise and accelerate global transformation across economic and governmental sectors.
The program concluded with interactive discussions on how disruptive technologies and visionary leadership can help shape agile, resilient, and future-ready governments worldwide.
