The United Arab Emirates will mark its presence at Indo Defence 2025 with a National Pavilion exhibiting over 90 advanced defence systems, reinforcing its growing role in the global defence industry.
The event, running from 11 to 14 June at Jakarta International Expo, is supported by the Tawazun Council and the UAE Ministry of Defence as part of the nation’s strategy to expand its international defence partnership, according to WAM.
Covering 704 square meters, the UAE National Pavilion will display cutting-edge defence systems across land, sea, and air domains, as well as cybersecurity and secure communications solutions, highlighting the rapid evolution of the UAE’s defence manufacturing sector.
Matar Ali Al Romaithi, Sector Chief of Defence and Security Industry Affairs at Tawazun Council, stated: “Our participation in Indo Defence 2025 is a strategic step toward enhancing defence collaboration between the UAE and Indonesia while showcasing the technological advancements of our national defence industry.”
He added: “This event underscores the UAE’s dedication to expanding its influence in global defence markets, particularly in Asia—a region with immense growth potential.”
Al Romaithi highlighted Tawazun Council’s crucial role in supporting the national defence sector by fostering strategic partnerships and creating platforms to exhibit the UAE’s innovative capabilities. He emphasized that the country’s presence at Indo Defence 2025 aligns with the leadership’s vision to establish the UAE as a trusted and influential partner in regional and international security.
This participation represents a significant milestone in the UAE’s strategy to access new markets, strengthen industrial cooperation with Asian partners, and pursue opportunities that drive a knowledge-based, technology-driven economy.
