UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan celebrated Flag Day on Sunday by raising the national flag at Qasr Al Hosn in Abu Dhabi, WAM reported.

A group of the nation’s top-achieving students attended the ceremony, which included a rendition of the UAE national anthem.

Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Mohamed expressed pride in the country's youth and shared his optimism for the future, noting that the UAE flag would continue to fly high through their dedication, achievements, and resilience.

The involvement of high-achieving students in the event reflects the UAE leadership's commitment to fostering excellence as a foundation for a brighter national future.

Qasr Al Hosn, the oldest historical landmark in Abu Dhabi, served as a symbolic backdrop, representing the city's growth and heritage.
