Gogi Alauddin helped revive Pakistan squash in the 1970s

Alauddin won the British Amateur twice and defeated Geoff Hunt in the 1973 British Open semi-finals

Gogi Alauddin was among a group of supremely talented youngsters, who helped revive the glory of Pakistan squash in the seventies.

He won the British Amateur Championship on his debut in 1970 and later retained it in 1971.

Gogi also defeated the great Geoff Hunt in the semi-finals of the 1973 British Open.

The best moment of Gogi’s career came in 1976 when he won the PIA Open, which included big names from the international circuit.
