UAE leaders share greetings on Islamic New Year
President and VPs call for peace and prosperity in official messages for the new year
President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, along with Vice Presidents Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated UAE residents on the Islamic, or Hijri, New Year, celebrated on Sunday, July 6. They shared warm messages on official platforms on X (formerly Twitter) to greet Muslims all over the world.
President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated the people of the UAE and Muslims around the globe, saying, “May God bless us this year as we pray for peace, harmony, and prosperity for all.”
Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE, and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum greeted the people of the Emirates, the Arab and Islamic nation, saying:
“May God bring it back with goodness, peace, and stability. The honorable Prophet’s migration represents for Muslims a symbol of beginning, a symbol of movement, and non-stop. The migration represents a symbol of sacrifice, hope, and effort. May God grant us all success in this New Hijri Year to work for the benefit of the country and its people.”
Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated the entire world on the occasion of the New Hijri Year, hoping that “it will be a year of goodness, peace, and development for our beloved country and the entire world.”
