UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met US Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday to discuss bilateral ties, regional security and multilateral cooperation, state news agency WAM reported.
The two officials reviewed recent Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and several other countries in the region. Sheikh Abdullah thanked the United States for its support following those attacks.

The two sides reviewed the implications of Iranian attacks for regional stability, global energy supplies, maritime security and the broader world economy.
They also discussed ongoing crises in Sudan and Lebanon, and explored ways to strengthen regional peace through greater international cooperation. Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the importance of the longstanding UAE-US relationship and their shared commitment to mutual interests.
